I'm investing in me today

That’s what I told people at Morning Startup. This break from work I have really had fun couch-coding, *bed-coding *and *co-coding *(with Gemini).

And I reached a bit of a milestone today. I’m leaving the “dipping toes” prototype era to having something I think I can throw a little weight behind.

My little Toga *Python programming system, heavily inspired by *Pyto but happily operating under significant constraints is now “good enough”.

So I gave it some love and packaged it with its own name and icon, and I’m considering offering it up for TestFlight, when I figure that out.

The elegance of Toga (thank you Russell and team) is from its constraint and simplicity - the number of widgets is limited but combining that with UIKit directly we get some pretty good results - I like my navigation stack UI with the OptionContainer as the anchor. I now feel happy for people to critique the code on GitHub.

I have now implemented a couple of modules that operate within this environment, one I am really happy with but which is completely bespoke to me, but after all that is the point of this empowerment, is the one which helps me post blog articles.

Blog Master *takes this article that I write in Apple Notes then I convert it to Markdown, including any attachments, then adds the metadata required by *Jekyll and a hero image. The file structure is then ready to go in Working Copy for a commit and push to GitHub Pages. I haven’t published this one to Git yet.

Thus getting me back to the chance of posting more often. Here’s to that…
